General Terms & Refund Policy

GENERAL TERMS
  • This service has been created to fill a need in the AVO community, by way of providing a slightly more direct and personalised form of assistance and/or troubleshooting for ~general audio quality and technical issues~ and is in no way meant to undercut or replace the services provided by a fully qualified and seasoned engineer or technician.
  • Issues or situations that cannot be reasonably easily solved through discussion in the AVO Community Discord server may be brought to me through this form, within reason;
    • I am well aware of the limits of my knowledge and understanding of the subject matter around which I’ve defined the services above — if there is any doubt in my ability to assist, I will be up-front about this and will attempt to assist finding a more suitable solution than paying me for my time when I wouldn’t be confident in my ability to help resolve the issue.
  • If we should require more time to fully investigate or discuss the issue, I allow a buffer of around 30 minutes beyond the booked time, but further time can be easily booked and paid for via a link I’ll provide.

REFUND POLICY

Generally speaking, refunds are not offered, and it would be preferred to defer / rearrange the meeting so that we can ensure your issue is resolved.

However a refund will be considered if —

  • we are unable to resolve your issue to the satisfaction of both of us;
  • if you resolve the issue yourself before we are able to meet; or
  • extenuating circumstances prevent one-or-both of us from being able to commit to the original or rescheduled time(s).

For full transparency, the fee charged for this meeting is less than half my normal hourly administrative rate, and is a specifically discounted rate for AVO Community Members.
